Overview:
The Prairieland Market in Salina, Kansas is re-inventing itself! We are expanding and moving to a new location in downtown Salina, with a whole different look and feel. Prairieland will be set up as a nonprofit organization to provide local, organic, and craft foods for our community, with a focus on food education and access for all.

In preparation for the opening of the new store this summer, we are currently recruiting for the following positions:

CSA/Education Coordinator

This full-time position will be responsible for coordinating the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program with local farmers and CSA subscribers, as well as coordinating all education programs with class instructors, the kitchen manager, and the store manager.

The successful candidate will have an interest in the local food community, have good interpersonal skills, and be adept at organizing and communicating using technology and one-on-one methods.

Minimum requirements include:

College bachelor's degree
Knowledge of the local food community
Expertise in Microsoft office products
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with a small team

Cashiers

Full-time and part-time positions available for reliable personnel with strong interpersonal skills, familiar with point of sale systems, and flexible schedules.

The successful candidates should have an interest in healthy food a friendly personality, and have strong problem-solving skills.

Minimum requirements include:

High School diploma or equivalent
Comfortable with computer systems
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with a small team
Experience in retail or grocery a plus!
